Jenny Redick says she is overwhelmed.
The third annual Tanner Redick Memorial Two Pitch Tournament held at the end of July raised $50,595 this year.
That brings the three year total for the event which honours her late son and brings community together to over $111,000. The money raised goes to scholarships and community organizations including the local fire department and the Alvinston Optimists. Tanner was a member of both organizations.
“I am so full of emotions and we could not be this successful with out all of you. Tanner’s memory is kept alive because of people like you,” said Redick in a post announcing the total raised.
