Watford’s downtown ‘100 per cent populated’ this fall says mayor
LCCVI’s Lauren Harvey and Mackenzie Duncan both won respective rugby championships over the long weekend.
Harvey and her Team Ontario West regional side, which also included Sarnia’s Lauren Kennedy, won the title at an event in St. Catharines.
The four-team event included Team Ontario East and teams from Quebec and New Brunswick.
Meantime, Duncan was part of the Team Ontario Blues team which won the Western Canadian girls’ under-16 championships in Calgary by winning all five of its matches. Ontario blanked BC, 14-0 in the final.
