Watford’s Faulds Defensive MVP at provincial championship

Watford’s Brandon Faulds has been named the Defensive MVP at the Sandy Rucksthul Cup in Varsity Ontario Summer Football League U18 AA Championships.
His team, the Sarnia Sturgeons lost to the Sault Ste. Marie Sabrecats 24-11 at the University of Windsor Sunday.
The Sturgeon had a 10-9 lead heading into halftime but the team was held to just one point during the second half.
Despite the loss, Faulds, the LCCVI graduate, was honoured for his defensive play during the game.
