OPP look for witnesses after cyclist struck near Brights Grove

Lambton OPP are looking for witnesses after a cyclist was hit and seriously injured in Brights Grove.

OPP put out an advisory on social media Saturday saying there had been a hit and run near the Mandaumin Road roundabout at Lakeshore Road around 11 pm Sept. 1 with no other details asking for witnesses to come forward.

A man identifying himself as the victim’s brother said on social media the man was riding a bicycle and was taken to hospital in London with serious injuries which require surgery.

He added the cyclist was hit by a white pickup with a dark tail gate.

The cyclists condition is not known at this time.
