Lancers fall to the Wolfpack in football opener

LCCVI kept it close for most of the game but Great Lakes ground game got the best of the Lancers in the football opener Thursday.

The Lancers travelled to Sarnia for the varsity game and were within six points with just over five minutes on the clock when the Wolfpack stopped their drive and then went on to score and get the safety to win 34-20.
The Lancers’ home opener is Oct. 12 against Wallaceburg.
