Alvinston woman dies in collision near Inwood

Lambton OPP say a 24 year-old Alvinston driver has died in a car accident this morning.

Details are scant however police say officers, paramedics and the Brooke Fire Service were called to Inwood Road and Rokeby Line around 7:40 am Monday for a two-vehicle crash.

A 24-year-old driver, from Alvinston, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver’s name has not been release by police. The intersection is closed for the investigation.

It’s the second traffic fatality in Lambton in the last four days. Friday, a 61 year-old Petrolian died in a crash with a gravel truck at Courtright Line and Marthaville Road.
