Country singer Josh Ross to headline first night of Hard Oil Music Fest

The first act of Petrolia’s Hard Oil Music Festival is Josh Ross.

He’ll headline the first night of the festival celebrating Petrolia’s 150th anniversary.

Ross was announced as one of Spotify’s Hot Country Artists To Watch 2023 and garnered
his second Top 5 Canadian radio hit with “On A Different Night.” After hitting No. 1 in Canada, his debut US single, “Trouble,” can be heard on country radio now.

His song ‘Ain’t Doin’ Jack’ is in the ninth spot on the Top 40.

The Thursday night concert is the first of the weekend to be announced. The concert series in Greenwood Park will feature classic rock Friday, and rock on Saturday. The announcement of those Canadian acts are expected in the next month.

Lightning win gold at OWHA provincials
