Power outages in Corunna, across Lambton after storm

The power in St. Clair Township is out after a storm blew through Lambton County just before lunch hour.

Hydro One says over 2,800 customers are without service around Corunna right now. Crews are working in the area and expect to have the power restored by 2:15 pm.

There is also a large power outage along the Lambton County line between Dresden and Wallaceburg. Crews again are on the ground and expect power to be restored by 3 pm.

There are sporatic outages of about 20 customers throughout the county including in Oil City, around Alvinston, Watford and along the lakeshore in Plympton-Wyoming. Most of those outages are slated to be fixed between 2:30 and 4pm.

Warwick firefighters are warning residents of fallen trees along local roads. There are reports of trees on the road around Confederation Line, Birnam Road near Arkona Road, First School Road near Egremont and Churchill Road near Little Ireland Road.
