Highway 402 near Watford has reopened.

Lambton OPP closed the eastbound lanes around 10:30 at Nauvoo Road after heavy rains flooded the area. The westbound exit at Kerwood was also closed.

The road reopened just after 2:30 pm.

The rain was extremely heavy in Watford. Vehicles headed down Nauvoo Road could be seen making a wake which lapped up against the walls of the Foodland store.

Warwick Township has closed a number of roads. They are;

– Kingscourt Rd. between Confederation Line and Churchill Line

– First School Rd. between Zion Line to Confederation Line

– Zion Line from Nauvoo to Sexton Rd.

– Sexton Road between Zion Line and Egremont Rd.

– Quaker Rd. between Egremont Rd. and Birnam Line

And there are roads that are open but which have been heavily affected; including Underpass Road, John Street, McGregor Street and Warwick Street.

In Enniskillen, Lasalle Line between Gypsy Flats and Black Ash Road and Fairweather between Oil Springs and Aberfeldy Road have also been closed.
