OPP say investigation in Oil Springs not suspicious

Lambton OPP are offering no details of a heavy police presence in Oil Springs Thursday.
Five police vehicle including a forensics van were parked in front of a home on Oil Springs Line for several hours after police were called to the home for a wellness check. OPP officers, at least one carrying a camera, moved in and out of the building in the afternoon. Witnesses say a body was removed from the home.
Bystanders say three large dogs were removed from the home early in the day.
Media Relations Officer Const. Jeanine Robertson confirms the police were at the scene but say the incident wasn’t suspicious and no further details will be released.
