Heartbreaker: Lancer Jr Girls fall to Wolfpack in LK final

The LCCVI Jr. Girls Basketball team came within a whisker of winning the Lambton-Kent championship.

The Lancers fell to Great Lakes 37-36 at the Sarnia high school.

In the final minutes, LCCVI hit a three pointer with seven seconds left. That gave them a two-point lead.

They fouled Great Lakes on a three-point shot and the Wolfpack made all three free-throws with four seconds left.

LCCVI had one more possession, but were unable to score.
