The mail will start to move again in Canada Tuesday.

That from Canada Post early Monday morning after the Canada Industrial Relations Board confirmed Canada Post and CUP-W are at an impasse in contract talks. The workers walked off the jobs 31 days ago. Canada Post then locked the employees out.

There have been few negotiations since then. The Labour Minister asked the CIRB to review the negotiations and determine if the two sides could reach an agreement by the end of the year. After two days of hearing, the board said they can’t.

Canada Post said in a statement early Monday that the CIRB has ordered employees to return to work and postal operations to resume at 8 am Tuesday.
