Lancers fall to Fighting Irish in Boys’ Hockey

St. Pat’s and LCCVI are now both 2-3 on the season after the Irish beat the Lancers, 5-2 in Petrolia Wednesday.
Dante Andali and Jack Saunders each scored twice for the Irish with the other goal going to Charlie Bulza. Ryan McLachlin and Nathan Reidhead replied for the Lancers.
And Nolan McNaught scored twice and Evan Van Sickle had a goal and two assists to lead Northern to a 5-1 win over North Lambton in boys’ high school hockey at Clearwater Arena. The Vikings are now 4-0 on the season.
The Eagles drop to 1-3. Eric Bowen and George Bracewell also scored for the Northern. Matthew McLellan made 24 stops in the Viking crease for the goaltending victory.
