Eagles win U13 B International Silver Stick title

The East Lambton U13 Bs are International Silver Stick Champs in the Tier 2 division.

The Eagles were 3-1 in the round robin beating Sturgeon Lake 4-2, Walkerton 3-2, Montgomery, Maryland, 6-2 and then lost to Frontenac 4-3 in over time.

Sunday, the Eagles turned got some revenge – and a berth to the final – beating Frontenac 2-1 in the semi final to take on Sturgeon Lake in the final.

The Eagles drew first blood with a power play goal with 1:51 left in the first.

Sturgeon Lake scored with 4:35 in the second period.

But with just over five minutes left in the game, East Lambton scored the winner and take the U13 B Tier 2 Championship in Forest.
