LCCVI tops North Lambton to move into second in high school hockey

LCCVI moved into a second place in boys’ high school hockey with a 5-1 win over North Lambton Wednesday in Petrolia.
The Lancers are now tied for second place with St. Patrick’s with 4-3 records after the Irish upended Northern, 4-2 on Wednesday. The Vikings lead the standings with a 5-2 mark.
St. Patrick’s closes out the regular season against the Eagles in Forest next Tuesday while the Lancers have a chance to tie Northern for top spot when they take on the Vikings at Greenwood next Wednesday.
The playoffs begin the week of Feb. 18.
