Snow has begun across southern Ontario including Petrolia and Central Lambton. It will become heavy at times this evening. Snowfall amounts near 15 cm are possible. This snowfall will impact the evening drive home. Snow may become mixed with ice pellets late this evening or overnight. There is also a risk of freezing rain. Snow will gradually taper off Thursday morning.

We are under a Snowfall Warning issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada. During peak snowfall, we could get two to four cm of snow. There’s also a risk of freezing rain.

The rain and snow should end by Thursday morning.
