Petrolia, WM give out $15K in green grants

Killer Bees hammer Dunnville 10-1 in first playoff game

The Alvinston Killer Bees scored seven times in the second period and went on to a 10-1 win over the Dunnville Aeros in the Ontario Super Hockey League playoff opener for both teams in Alvinston on Friday night.
Brennan Feasey led the winners with a hat trick and captain James McEwan (below) added a goal and six assists.
Jamie Schaafsma had a goal and two assists for the Bees while Jack VanBoekel, Owen McGowan, Grant Spence, Caden Faulkner and Carson Perry all scored once and added an assist.
Jayden Lammel had three assists and Bayly Fryfogle added two helpers for the Bees.
Kaden Fulcher made 17 saves for the goaltending win.
Alvinston outshot the Aeros, 67-18 on the night, including 25-1 in the pivotal second period.
Game two is in Dunnville tonight.
