Carter Bowerman scored a power play goal at 17:48 of the third period to give the Exeter Hawks a 3-2 win over the Petrolia Flyers on Friday before a crowd of 1,012 in the Huron County community.
Parker Davidson got the Flyers on the board early in the second period before the Hawks scored twice in a second less than two minutes midway through the middle frame to take a 2-1 lead. Lucas Rogers tied the contest with 16 seconds left in the second period.
Elijah Grant made 26 saves as the Flyers outshot the Hawks, 37-29.
Petrolia still leads the best-of-seven Yeck Division final, three games to one.
Game five is Sunday afternoon at Greenwood. Face off is 3:20.
