Killer Bees playoff run is over

The Alvinston Killer Bees fired 47 shots including 19 in the third in a 3-2 loss to the Strathroy Jets Monday, ending the Bees playoff run.

Evan DeBrouwer held off a third period rush by the Bees who fired 19 shots on the net in an attempt to tie up the 3-2 game. DeBrouwer has faced over 40 shots in each of the six playoff games.

Jacob Chantler and James McEwan scored for the Killer Bees in the loss. Jamie MacQueen scored twice for the Jets.

The Killer Bees end the season with a record of 26-7-1 .
