The Petrolia Kiwanis Club is hoping to win a $25,000 to help cover its $100,000 commitment to the town’s new splash pad.
The service club took the project on and the town is now in the process of building it at the Oil Heritage District Community Centre.
The Kiwanis Club is in the running for the Growing Home grant sponsored by Ag Solutions and BASF. The organization gives the cash out based on the amount of online votes for each project. The link is also posted Kiwanis Club of Petrolia and Area Facebook page. Voting continues until April 15.
