Lambton teens face conspiracy to commit murder charges

Lambton OPP say two teens have been arrested after death threats in Warwick Township.

Police are not releasing a lot of information about the incident but say officers began investigating the incident Feb. 12 after they were told of “a potential threat to multiple individuals at an address in Warwick Township.

On April 11, a 15-year old from Sarnia was arrested and was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

On April 11, a 13-year old from Warwick Township was arrested facing the same charge. Both are charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act so their names cannot be released.

The pair have both been released on bail and will appear in court at a later date, although the OPP would not say when.

Officials would also not say how many people had been threatened and the age of the person targeted.

Investigators say this is an isolated incident and don’t think there is a threat to public safety. The OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch.
