Lambton Centennial wins $150K for ball diamond from Blue Jays foundation

Lambton Centennial Public School in Enniskillen is getting a new baseball diamond.
The school was awarded $150,000 for the project courtesy of the Toronto Blue Jays Care Foundation.
The community heard the good news while viewing a watch party at Black Gold Brewery in Petrolia prior to the Jays game on Sunday afternoon.
“Jays Care is thrilled to partner with these 15 outstanding organizations, all committed to bringing the game of baseball to more children and youth across the country,” said foundation acting executive director Peter King in a prepared statement.
“These new diamonds will be more than just places to play; they’ll be hubs for community connection where young people can get active, learn, and grow a love for the game of baseball.”
