Ajax man arrested in Lambton drug investigation

Lambton OPP say two people – one from Thedford, the other from Ajax – have been charged after a drug investigation that started in March.
OPP released details of the April 30 arrests Thursday.
Police say around 9 pm, officers from the Lambton Street Crime Unit and uniformed officers stopped a vehicle on Deacon Street in Thedford as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Police seized about $6,500 worth of fentanyl, methamphetamine and Canadian cash.
Deshawn Williams, 25, of Ajax has been arrested and charged with possession of the purpose of trafficking fentanyl.
Karl Pilz, 31, of Thedford is facing two drug trafficking charges.
Both were released from custody and will be in court June 4.
