Two face drug charges after Walpole Island raid

Two Walpole Island man are facing drug trafficking charges after OPP officers from across southwest Ontario searched a home on Altiman Road.
OPP released information Thursday about the arrests which took place May 2.
Officers from Lambton, Elgin-Middlesex and Essex along with the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, the Emergency Response Team and the Walpole Island Police service went into the home with a warrant and seized about $8,400 worth of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine as well as Canadian cash.
Kyle Nahbee, 41, faces seven drug charges including trafficking, cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as three firearm charges and failing to comply with probation orders.
Amber Hawkins, 33, is also facing charges of two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both have appeared in court and have been released. They’ll return to Sarnia court July 2.
