Alvinston Killer Bees star Brennan Feasey is the new head coach of the Sutherland Cup champion Chatham Maroons of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.

The new job came about after Richard Santos left the Maroons this week to become the new head coach of the U16 boys prep team with Biosteel Sports Academy in Windsor and an assistant coach with the OJHL’s Leamington Flyers.

Feasey, a Maroons grad and Glencoe native, had been an assistant coach with the Maroons and the CK Cyclones U15 AAA teams last season.

The fan favourite averaged more than three points per game in 24 regular season and playoff games with Alvinston last season scoring 44 goals and adding 31 assists for 75 points.

The 31-year-old had previously committed to playing for the Killer Bees for the 2025-26 campaign in the new Northern Premier Hockey League. The team says Feasey will still be available this season, likely for about the same amount of games as last year.
