Wyoming paddler part of World Championship effort

Wyoming’s Kennedie Urquhart seen here third from left in front row, was part of Team Canada’s gold medal performance this week at the World Dragon Boat Championships in Germany.
She and her team rallied to win the under-18 1000 metre race nosing out the United States by 1/100th of a second. Australia was third.
Canada’s winning time was 4:31.12. The U.S. crossed the line in 4:31.13.
