Burn ban issued in Oil Springs and south Enniskillen

Oil Springs is the latest fire department to issue a burn ban.
Officials say as a result of the recent extreme temperatures and dry conditions, the Oil Springs/South Enniskillen Fire Department will not be permitting any rural burning, including all types of recreational fires. The department will not be issuing any outdoor rural burn permits until the ban is lifted.
Sunday, the Petrolia/North Enniskillen Fire Department also banned all outdoor burning.
