Ryan Beattie has served notice that he’ll be ready to make his mark in a new division on the Canadian Superbike circuit in 2026.
The 17-year-old from Enniskillen Township made his debut on a bigger BMW motorcycle on the weekend and won both races he entered by an average margin of nearly 17 seconds at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Clarington, near Oshawa.
The LCCVI student has been racing at the regional level this season getting used to the bigger machine.
Despite only racing once this season, Beattie, with the two victories, finished sixth in the season standings in the Amateur Superbike class.
He won the amateur lightweight championship last season.
