August 19, 2025
Two people were injured in an accident at the corner of Petrolia Line and Kimball Road.
Lambton OPP and St. Clair Township firefighters were called to the corner just before 1 pm Monday and found a car and an SUV collided. Police say both drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 36-year-old from St. Catharines was charged with failing to yield to through traffic.
The intersection has been the centre of public concern over the past few years. Lambton County has agreed to build a roundabout at the intersection and is in the process of purchasing land in the area with the hopes of beginning construction in 2026.
