A new driver is facing five charges after a traffic stop in Petrolia
A Lambton OPP officer stopped a vehicle on North Street near Oil Heritage road Aug. 17 just before the lunch hour. Inside they found 21-year-old from Wallaceburg whose licence had been suspended.
Police have charged the driver with driving while under suspension, being a G1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver, driving a vehicle without a validated permit, driving without a proper rear light and failing to have an insurance card.
The driver will be in court in October.
