Sarnia Sting make cuts after Black and White game

The Sting reassigned 11 players this morning including Sarnia’s Carter Fogarty.

The list also includes free agent Joseph Sinclair who had a goal and three assists in the Black and White intrasquad game last night.

Among others reassigned are Chase Sewell, Cole Willard and Gunner Gullstrand taken in the third, fourth and fifth rounds of the OHL Priority Selection in April and Cole Edmunson, an under-18 choice from this year.

The Sting also cut goalies Mikkel Christensen, Max Grovestine, David Healey and Kale Ospipenko leaving the team with Patrick Quinlan and incumbent Evan Maillet as the only two goalies remaining on the roster at this time.

Among players reassigned prior to the intrasquad game yesterday was Lambton Jr. Sting graduate Ethan Glavin. He was taken in the tenth round in April.

Meantime, among those reassigned by the London Knights yesterday were Petrolia’s Isaac Truman, Mooretown’s Brayden Hogan and Port Lambton goaltender Brock Lane.
