The Petrolia Flyers has added significant offense, a veteran defenceman and a solid goaltender with its signing of four overage players for the 2025-26 PJHL campaign.

The team has announced that forwards Tobias Iantorno and Andrew Jaques will return to the team as will rearguard Noah Harse and goalie Elijah Grant.

Iantorno was a 30-goal scorer last season over the course of 34 regular season and playoff games after joining the Flyers from the Toronto Patriots of the OJHL. The Mississauga product had points in all but four games with the Flyers last season.

Jaques contributed 21 goals and 62 points over the course of the teams run to the Yeck Division championship, including 18 multiple point games.

Harse had six goals and 14 points in 41 regular season and playoff contests and Grant won 17 games between the pipes.

The Flyers preseason continues Friday in Watford against the Dresden Jr. Kings. Puck drop is 7:30.

Petrolia opens the new regular season at home against Thamesford on Sept. 18.

Meantime, East Lambton minor hockey grad Ryan Bork has signed with the Dresden Jr. Kings of the PJHL. Bork averaged just under a point per game with the Eagles’ under-18 squad last season and scored a goal in a pair of call-up games with the Kings.
