Two Ontario men face charges after alleged immigration fraud at Lambton College

No backyard chickens in St. Clair
September 6, 2025
The Independent
St. Clair Township is sticking to its policy of no backyard chickens.
Last month a resident with a coop who was told to remove them, asked for a new bylaw to allow the birds. She said they had therapeutic and health benefits.
But council turned down the opportunity to consider a bylaw even though Clerk Jeff Baranek suggested the birds might be fine in more rural parts of the community.
The resident now has 15 days to get rid of her birds.
