It was once a ball diamond which Enniskillen Township council questioned if it was getting enough use to warrant the new washrooms and a pavilion.

That’s no longer a concern.

Next season, Krall Park will have activity on the diamond every weekday evening, with the Enniskillen Express scheduled to play every evening except Wednesday.

That Wednesday time is currently taken up by a Wyoming ball team. The Express plays that night over at the Marthaville ball diamond.

Lee Charlton, of the Enniskillen Express program, told the Enniskillen Parks and Recreation Committee Monday, the program plans to expand further in the 2026 season with the addition of an Under 17 team.

This will give the Express a total of four teams, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 17.

Charlton said the diamond was getting a lot of compliments from visiting teams this summer.

“A lot like coming here because it is in the middle of nowhere,” said Charlton.

At one point the Express had 14 games played at Krall Park in a two-week span when rain had played havoc with the schedule. Charlton even had games on the weekend.

Lambton-Kent Fastball is scheduled to play on Monday evenings after 8:30 pm next season.

At the Marthaville ball diamond, a Wyoming team is expected to play on Tuesday nights, while a co-ed league will play three games every Thursday night and a two pitch league will play three games every Friday night.

The committee was also presented with a full accounting of the operating the townships three parks in 2024.

It cost a total of $44,700; $17,500 at Krall Park, and $13,600 each at Marthaville Park and Gorman Park.

The township collected nearly $5,500 in revenue, bringing the total cost of the parks in 2024 at $39,250.
