Arkona teen dies in farming accident

A 15-year-old from Arkona has died in a farming accident.
Middlesex OPP, Lambton paramedics and local firefighters were called to a farm on Parkhill Drive in North Middlesex, northwest of Parkhill Saturday afternoon around 4 pm for a farming accident.
Police say the teen was found unconscious in a well on the property and was taken to hospital. The 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. The teen’s name has not been released.
Middlesex OPP, the Ministry of Labour and the Coroner are investigating. The Ministry of Labour says no further information will be released while the investigation continues.
