The Petrolia Flyers will take a 1-1 record into a home game against Lucan this Thursday at Greenwood. Puck drop is 7:30.
The Flyers rallied from a 4-1 deficit on Saturday in Aylmer but couldn’t quite get over the hump losing 5-4 to the Spitfires.
Parker Davidson had two goals and an assist for Petrolia. Noel Sanderson and Tobias Iantorno had the others.
Elijah Grant made 22 stops in the Flyers crease.
Petrolia takes on the Hawks in Exeter on Friday.
