Petrolia’s Brandon moves west to play in BCHL

Gage Brandon has headed west to continue his hockey career.
The Petrolia product and Flint Firebird draft choice has signed with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the BCHL.
The 17-year-old has yet to make his debut for the Crusaders.
He had 21 goals and 38 points in 48 games with the Sarnia Legionnaires last season. He was a third round pick by the Firebirds in 2024.
Joseph Sinclair, who was released from Sting camp last month, is tied for the team leading in scoring early in the season. He has a goal and four assists in two games.
