A sea of orange made its way down Front Street in Sarnia on its way to Paul Blundy Park on Wednesday (Oct. 1) as the Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre held its annual Every Child Matters March in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation which was officially commemorated on Sept. 30.
Ceremonies were held across the region including in Kettle and Stoney Point First Nation on Sept. 29. The ceremony included the unveiling of the Every Child Matters quilt which tells the stories of the community in images and words.
