Brigden won’t host 2027 IPM

Running the runway
October 10, 2025
For the second year in a row, Petrolia’s James Grant was the first to cross the finish line in the second-annual Jordan’s Run the Runway at Chris Hadfield Airport in Sarnia. Grant ran the five kilometre course in 15 minutes, 59 seconds on Friday evening.
The big winner was the YMCA in Sarnia-Lambton with the event raising $16,800. The money will provide financial assistance for community members to access YMCA programs and services.
Jordan’s Run the Runway was launched after London’s Jordan Strickland, a volunteer counsellor at Camp Queen Elizabeth lost his life in a car accident in 2014.
The first Jordan’s Run the Runway was held in London and now are held in St. Thomas, Chatham and Sarnia with a over $1.6 million raised in total since its inception.
