The Knights and Sting are now preparing for a pair of games against Kitchener and Windsor this coming
weekend as part of Rivalry Week in the OHL.
The Spitfires visit Sarnia on Friday while the teams meet a night later in Windsor.
London is at Kitchener Friday night and will entertain the Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
Oct. 11, the Knights won the first installment of the Battle of the 402 with an overtime decision over Sarnia.
After Patrick Quinlan had made a spectacular save on Jared Woolley, Cohen Bidgood deposited a rebound at 1:58 of the extra period to give the home team the second point in the standings before a usual capacity crowd in downtown London.
Watford’s Evan Van Gorp assisted on the game-winning goal.
London had beaten Erie, 6-1 on Friday while the Sting ran into a hot goaltender bowing 3-1 to the Oshawa Generals.
The Knights are now unbeaten in five games and 4-2-2 overall. Sarnia is 3-4-1.
