Mooretown Flags split weekend games

Mitchell Stack scored less than three minutes into the game Saturday for the Mooretown Flags. It was all the home team could muster in a 3-1 loss to Wheatley.
The Flags are now 6-6 on the campaign.
Oct. 14, Mooretown rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat Amherstburg, 5-4. Carson Crawford had the winner, his 10th of the season, at 2:07 of overtime. Stack, Jace Dupuis, Lucas Ross and Landon Marcy also scored for Mooretown.
John Chartrand made 30 saves in each of the contests.
Mooretown takes on the Kings in Dresden Friday and then entertains Lakeshore Saturday.
