Alvinston scored four unanswered goals in the first period and went on to beat the Jets, 8-2 in Northern Premier Hockey League action in Strathroy Oct. 17.

The Bees are now 4-0 on the season. Strathroy is 1-2.

Cameron Krupa scored twice for Alvy and James McEwan added a shorthanded goal and three assists.

Ethan Lamoureux, Steve Farlow, Caden Faulkner, Jeff King and Bayly Fryfogle also scored for Alvinston.

Joseph Raaymakers made 37 saves for his third win of the season. 

The Bees outshot the home team, 43-39.

One-time member of the Petrolia Jets and former London Knights captain Steve Sanza had both goals for Strathroy.

Alvinston takes on the Irish in Stratford on Saturday. The Bees’ next home game is against Woodstock on Nov. 1.
