Van Gorp’s two points help Knights top Sting

After giving the number-one ranked Brantford Bulldogs all they could handle, the Sarnia Sting fell to the London Knights 3-0 Sunday at home.
Watford’s Evan Van Gorp had two assists for the Knights who have now won nine straight in regulation time.
The Sting dropped to 4-6-2 after the weekend losses to the Knights and the 3-1 defeat at the hands of Brantford Friday.
Sarnia’s began a three-game road swing with a school day game against the Attack in Owen Sound Oct. 29.
The Knights travel to eastern Ontario for a three-game road trip.
