It wasn’t so much a zombie walk as a run as Zombie Lucas Musgrave had many running through the forest at AW Campbell Conservation Authority on Saturday at the annual event organized by the Alvinston and District Optimist Club.
Halloween fun in Lambton County

With Halloween fast approaching, several events were taking place throughout Lambton County. Four-year-old Audrey Byers of Oil Springs was enjoying the Oil Springs’ Children’s Halloween Party on Saturday at the youth centre. She was one of many who had some popcorn, chocolate bars and participated in games.
Four-year-old Ainsley Hall and six-year-old Lucy Hall decked out in their costumes were at the Spooktacular event in Camlachie with their mom, Amanda on Saturday.
Claire Craig, 18 months, of Camlachie was taking in event organized by the Plympton-Wyoming Events Committee with her five-year-old brother Heath.

Highway 402 closed at Watford after accident

Highway 402 eastbound is closed at Nauvoo Road after two tractor trailers collided. A streamer across Lake Huron is dumping the traditional snow belt area with about a foot of snow on the ground around Highway 402 and Arkona Road. Lambton OPP say a number of vehicles are involved but no injuries have been reported. One of the transport jackknifed.
