North Lambton, LCCVI undefeated in regular season

North Lambton moved up from A to a AA classification in LKSSAA senior girls’ basketball this season and the increased competition has not been a problem.

The Eagles completed a 9-0 regular season with a 52-33 win in Wallaceburg Wednesda afternoon. Alexis Wice dropped 26 points for the Eagles and is now averaging 23.5 points per game over her past four contests.

Meantime, in AAA action, St. Patrick’s completed an 8-0 regular season with a 57-10 victory over CKSS. Taya Willemsen and Mackenzie Kardas led the Irish with 12 and 11 points respectively.

The scores between Northern and Ursuline and LCCVI at John McGregor were not reported.

In junior action, LCCVI improved to 9-0 with a 46-9 win over John McGregor in Chatham, St. Patrick’s edged CKSS, 40-31, Ursuline topped Northern, 51-20 and Wallaceburg downed North Lambton, 32-19.

Playoff dates and times have yet to be announced.
