Northern handed LCCVI its third loss of the season in a cold, rainy game at Norm Perry Park Thursday.

The Vikings were up 23-0 in the first half. The Lancers scored once in the second and contained Northern’s offense allowing just one field goal in the final frame.

LCCVI ends the regular season at 3-3. Northern is 4-3.

The Lancers face Wallaceburg in the AA SWOSSAA Play In Thursday. The game is at 1:30 pm in Petrolia.

Northern, meantime, will face Ursuline College Chatham in the semi-finals Fri. Nov. 7. The winner takes on unbeaten St. Pat’s in the AAA final.

OPP board worried about coming speed increase near Bluewater Bridge
