Alvinston and Wyoming firefighters take part in Hayter Memorial Tournament

November 21, 2025

The action was fierce as firefighters converged on Alvinston for the ninth annual Hayter Memorial Tournament.

Ten teams from Lambton County and as far away as Toronto and New Jersey played in the event.

Alvinston took on Wyoming during the opening night.

It was Watford claiming the tournament title and donating the team’s winnings back to the charity the tournament supports Camp Bucko. It runs a summer camp for burn victims.

Forest school plans approved by Lambton Shores

Enniskillen gives green light to fire truck purchase

Alvinston arena repairs move forward, tender for project in March
