Victoria Playhouse Petrolia will be showing its patrons a little love next season.

Co-Artistic Directors David Hogan and David Rogers have unveiled the season’s slate called Love is All You Need.

The name comes, in part, from one of the coming season’s offerings, All You Need Is Love – the Music of The Beatles. Similar to this summer’s hit featuring the music of ABBA, the show will step back “into the gold age of pop” celebrating the music of the group which changed the world.

It’s not the only musical offering; the VPP will look back at the music of the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean and The Mammas and the Papas with Good Vibrations while Piano Legends will feature the music of performers such as Liberace, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elton John.

There will also be a VPP original production – Divine Women 2 – featuring five Canadian female artists in a “unique theatrical concert.”

The season also features a new offering by Dan Needles of Wingfield Farm fame; it’s called Ed’s Garage.

Petrolia’s Michael VanHevel and Sarah Higgins star in the musical I Do! I Do! which follows one couple through 50 years of marriage.

Hogan and Rogers say every show captures a different shade of love.

“Through music, laughter and heartfelt stories, we’re reminded that love connects us all. Each of these productions reminds us that love, in all its forms, is the heart of great storytelling.”

Ticket sales for the new season open Nov. 26 for members and Dec. 3 for non-members. Single ticket sales start Dec. 10.  Tickets for the 2026 versions of Starbright Christmas and the VPP Jamboree will go on sale Jan. 13, 2026.
