Josh Barraclough and Evan Wammes scored for the Squires in a 9-2 loss to the Rocks in Ontario Elite Hockey League action in Elora on Friday.

Both teams are now 6-2 on the season.

Elora had period leads of 3-0 and 5-2 before the home team put the game out of reach with four unanswered goals in the third period.

Squire goaltender Jakob Knowles had his first rough outing of the season allowing four goals on 11 shots through 21 minutes.  Nolan Dekoning allowed five goals the rest of the way.

Petrolia is home to Tillsonburg at Greenwood on Friday. Game time is 8:30.
