John Chartrand made 25 saves for his franchise leading ninth career shutout to backstop the Mooretown Flags to an 8-0 win over the Wild on Walpole Island.

Masen Flett led the winners with his first career junior hockey hat trick Nov. 20. He had period leads of 3-0 and 5-0 on its way to the two points in the standings.

Mitchell Stack had a goal and two assists for the Flags while the brothers Dupuis, Jace and Dylan, both had a goal and a helper.

Owen MacDonald and Caleb Rosseel also scored for Mooretown.

Casey Schouten, Noah Waybrant and Ethan Glavin each had two assists.

Mooretown has now won six of its last seven PJHL contests and is in fourth place in the Stobbs Division with an overall record of 12-8.

The Flags play Essex at the Moore Sports Complex Saturday at 7:30 and the Admirals in Amherstburg Sunday.
